We are seeking a Junior Information Security Analyst to join the team at the Port of Liverpool and help us keep the world moving!
You will help preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Peel Ports Group information systems and data. This includes monitoring of compliance with Group IT security policies within the organisation, assisting with information security risk assessments and audits, and development of a Cyber Awareness programme. You will conduct IT risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and help to develop and implement risk mitigation measures.
Monitoring Group IT security controls, you will ensure that Peel Ports Groups data is protected and compliant with company policies and regulations (e.g. the NIS Directive). You will contribute towards the Group IT auditing function to maintain high standards of IT governance within the Group IT department, whilst also carrying our monthly reporting to Group IT standards, including KPIs for presentation to the Information Security Steering Group
You will assist with the design, development, distribution and tracking of cyber awareness training content, phishing tests and cyber tabletop exercises across the Group.
You will have excellent communication skills, with a professional and customer focussed attitude and ability to convey technical information as appropriate. You will have strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time and ensure all relevant deadlines are met.
You will be resourceful with the ability to take the initiative, a strong interest in IT/Cyber Security is key for this role. Knowledge of recognised information security standards such as ISO27001 and NIST is beneficial.
