JOB TITLE: Production Technician
LOCATION: Amelia, Ohio
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
SHIFT: 4/4 Night Shift
Position Requirements
Operates production equipment to produce quality pigment dispersions in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Operates within a defined area making support materials to contribute to the final products manufactured
Makes boxes, applies labels, moves skids of materials with material handling equipment
Cleans flooring, tanks, and equipment regularly
Interacts with other departments to share information for successful process flow
Adheres to strict work instruction details to comply with customer requirements
Complies with all safety procedures and safety training requirements
Includes monthly completion of Dupont training modules
Completion of cyber security modules, and any other company mandated training requirements
Reports immediately any potential unsafe area or act to leadership.
Communicates required information in all phases of production processes including but not limited to interactions with shipping and receiving, quality control, maintenance, leadership, human resource if necessary
Includes both verbal and written communications.
Operates material handling equipment including hoists and sit down and stand-up forklifts.
Must be able to meet all requirements as called out below for basic skills for language skills, reasoning skills, mathematical skills, and physical skills
. Other duties as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent
Associates Degree a Plus
Certifications/Training
Maintain certification in operation on all 3 types of plant industrial trucks and elevated platforms.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic skills in MS Office software; basic math skills
