Arthrex Inc. is hiring a Temporary Logistics Coordinator to perform a variety of tasks associated with the company’s requirements for efficient and effective product receipt and delivery to its customers across Canada. The assignment will have an end date of May 25, 2025.
This individual will need to reside near London, Ontario, Canada.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for such duties as: shipping, picking, packing, wrapping, banding, and loading and unloading all products shipped to and from the head office warehouse.
Review SAP order queues to determine picking activities and pick orders according to specific instructions provided.
Process completed orders through electronic courier shipping systems.
Assemble boxes and skids, pack goods to be shipped, and attach packing slips.
Double check all orders for accuracy such as customer ship to addresses, order PO numbers, and shipping types on courier waybills.
Direct delivery trucks, help drivers load and unload goods.
Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouse.
Unpack received goods into appropriate staging areas.
Inspect and count items that are received ensuring accuracy.
Stock warehouse shelves and ensure all product is located properly and sorted by FEFO.
Maintain electronic documentation.
Assist with tracking customer orders as required.
Inform purchasers of expired product.
Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory.
Load finished product onto truck.
Operate pallet jack and J1 Joey with license certificate.
Inform purchasers of warehouse supplies to be ordered when stock is depleted.
Track metrics on a regular basis by recording stats such as daily shipment counts, days without error and temperature readings in the warehouse.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving area according to the 5S model.
100% accountability in all duties, at all times, in order to fulfill Tribe’s mission statement.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent years of relevant experience.
Previous experience and proficiency with computer shipping/receiving systems, scanner guns and/or an electronic inventory system.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Team player, able to work well in a group environment and focus on tasks required.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively with external and internal customers.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, climb as well as lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to work under time constraints, governed by concurrent and dynamic customer deadlines, despite conflicting priorities and frequent interruptions.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
