Program Manager
YOUR IMPACT
As a Program Manager, you will be joining the Northern Europe Professional Services Project Management Team where you will be responsible for managing multiple Projects and Programme of Projects. Working on a hybrid model is possible.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Delivering Large and Complex Projects, both on and off cloud including migrations utilizing Project Management methodologies
- Managing multiple workstreams concurrently for multiple customers prioritizing tasks to ensure Customer satisfaction
- You will be able to quickly understand the scope of the Project workstreams assigned to you and be able to turn that into a sequence of activities that can be allocated to individuals that you can track to completion
- Communicating clearly with team members and colleagues, to ensure that everyone understands the Project scope and goals and is working to achieve the same aims
- Communicating clearly with OpenText customers at Project and Executive levels, both verbally and in formal reports, to keep them updated on progress, any challenges being encountered and progress against the overall project plans
- Controlling change to ensure that the Projects scope, effort estimates and budgets are met, and any deviations are documented and agreed
- Managing multi-disciplined Project Teams, including onshore and offshore team members
- Gaining an understanding of your customers Business Needs, and ensuring that your projects work to support these, within the boundaries set by the Statement of Work
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 5+ years working as a Supplier Customer facing Senior Project Manager / Program Manager, where you have successfully delivered multiple large and complex projects
- Excellent interpersonal and effective verbal and written communication skills. Confident working with Project Executives both internal and external
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Experience of delivering projects on time, to budget and within required tolerances.
- Proven risk and mitigation management skill, including strong change control governance
- Ability to provide accurate capacity forecasts against individual projects and resources
- Very good English language skills both written and spoken
