THE JOB:
As a Quality Analyst for the EPOS project, you're accountable for end-to-end testing ensuring the quality of pre-production and production deliveries in the UK and 25 other countries
Our team operates within Decathlon International services at Decathlon Surrey Quays, London. We focus on building, implementing, and optimising EPOS solutions encompassing software/hardware and front/back-office functionalities tailored for Decathlon stores. Additionally, we facilitate IS transformation to ensure seamless customer journeys.
The Cashiering project aims to propose a system optimising checkout and payment processes for customer purchases, ensuring simplicity, robustness, and alignment with the specific needs of Decathlon's presence in the UK, Europe, America, and Africa.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define the acceptance strategy in line with new demands and changes in the business (under the X-RAY tool)
Define, design, execute and maintain test plans and test sessions based on user stories
Develop non-regression tests for pre-production stability.
Manage anomalies in Jira with detailed documentation.
Engage in test automation projects for process enhancement.
Maintain a customer-centric testing mindset.
Foster collaboration among stakeholders via the 'three amigos' approach.
Assist in writing pre-production and production delivery manifest.
Enhance the test repository based on production feedback.
Collaborate with the support team to track subjects for Prod deliveries
Provide insights for improving testing procedures.
Support country/franchise employees with User Acceptance testing efforts using proficient English skills.
ABOUT YOU:
You are passionate about sports.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar position is required
Customer-centric testing mindset with a focus on improving EPOS application efficiency and Quality.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools such as X-RAY, with hands-on experience using Jira for tracking anomalies
Familiarity with test automation tools and techniques.
Experience with Testim (low code) is beneficial.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly in cross-functional teams
Specific requirements/Work environment:
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least three days a week in our Office in London (Surrey Quays)
