The job:
As a Support Engineer for Decathlon, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our networking infrastructure is reliable and efficient. You will work as part of our large networking team to implement, deploy, and promote the best practices aligned with Decathlon's network standards. This will involve providing technical training and focusing on our retail, logistics, and digital product infrastructures.
The successful candidate will receive guidance and mentorship from our senior network engineer. This position will offer you the autonomy required to make significant contributions and provide expert insights within the networking domain.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibility 1: Support
Serve as the main point of contact for Decathlete demand, providing support to users and customers to enhance their Decathlon experience.
Manage Decathlon's IT infrastructure knowledgeably, fostering relationships with external support teams and supplier partners.
Address day-to-day L1 and L2 issues and contribute to on-site IT projects.
Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting digital products and their structures.
Responsibility 2: Collaboration
Foster cross-team collaboration by engaging with the Decathlon Technical community and building networks of technical profiles.
Support teammates and learn about other teams' roles and responsibilities to enhance collaboration.
Communicate IT workflows and procedures effectively across internal teams.
Understand which teams handle specific parameters and their collaboration with Decathlon DPE Products.
Responsibility 3: Infrastructure
Maintain live environments at optimal levels and prioritise Decathlon's security in all operations.
Uphold Decathlon Infra standards and security policies with a "security-first" mindset.
Document workflows and processes and ensure timely repairs, replacements, and software updates.
Collaborate with worldwide infra teams and integrate within different sectors as needed.

You have strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
Specific requirements/Work environment:
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least three days a week in our Office in Northampton.
