The ATE Support role for the eReferral Implementation as part of the eServices Program, is designed to offer comprehensive support, both in-person and virtually. An At The Elbow (ATE) Support Specialist serves as a vital bridge between healthcare professionals and the complex technology they utilize, providing immediate, hands-on support for eReferral. By offering on-site assistance, troubleshooting, and personalized training, they enable frontline staff to focus on patient care without being hindered by technological challenges. Their expertise ensures that the implementation and ongoing use of healthcare technology align with organizational goals, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality of care across the system.
Consultant Level 1 & 2:
This position is intended to provide ATE support to the following NS Health & IWK roles:
All “clerk” positions, registration, health records, booking, secretary, facilities resource assistant, medical transcriptionist, administrative positions, equipment operator, CCA, Porter, supply technician, procurement, IMIT analyst, volunteer services, all research coordinators, emergency support aide, utility worker, patient flow leader, project managers, patient navigator, and biomedical technologist.
Consultant Level 3:
This position is intended to provide ATE support to the following NS Health and IWK roles:
RT, MLT, PT, OT, Diagnostic Tech including xray, CT, and MRI, Pharmacists, Care Coordinators, Pharmacy Tech, Social Worker, Mental Health Clinical Therapists, all Clinical Technician positions, Dieticians, Rec therapists, and rehab assistants
Consultant Level 4:
This position is intended to provide ATE support to the following NS Health and IWK roles:
Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, MD, and Physician Assistants.
