We have an immediate opportunity for a 3rd Shift Production Operator to join us at our diverse team in Newbern, TN. Reports directly to the department Supervisor and is responsible for operating all machines to maintain established quality standards and production schedules in the manufacture of braided hose.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Maintain a safe work environment and use proper safety devices as provided.
Abide by and actively promote all facility safety guidelines and quality procedures.
Ensure all material available for next run per the production schedule prior to starting set-up of machine. Load material onto machine per spec sheets and standard operating instructions.
Run machines per spec sheet and operating instructions, completing required quality checks, operating and quality paperwork, travelers, etc. as required. Aid in development and continuous improvement of Standardized Work documentation on an on-going basis.
Maintain a channel of communication between management and departmental personnel on shift crossover.
