About the role

 

We have two newly created Senior Specialist roles, this is due to our growth as an organisation and ambition to work proactively and collaboratively with leaders.

 

In this role, you will work with the Group Security and Resilience (GS&R) Manager and Senior Specialists to execute the Group Security and Resilience framework, which comprises; Crisis Management, Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Protective Security and Group Investigations.

 

 Key responsibilities:

 

  • Provide advice and assurance to the first line as a subject matter expert for the five GS&R capabilities, spanning prevention, preparation, response, and recovery activities
  • Support and advise the business during real world disruptive events
  • Ensure the group has appropriate information, training, platforms, and services to effectively prepare for and manage disruptive events in a robust and sustainable manner
  • Ensure effective governance of the five GS&R capabilities, including identifying improvements, optimisation, and efficiencies. 

 

About you:

 

You will bring a mature understanding and track record in primarily Business Continuity and/or in Protective Security and Group Investigations. We are seeking an individual who has a highly collaborative approach and is looking to further develop their skills across all pillars.

  

Key skills and experience:

 

  • Extensive experience in one or more of the following: Protective Security, Business Continuity, Crisis Management and/or emergency management
  • Strong analysis and modelling skills combined with a strong system and/or integration background
  • One of our Specialist roles will require demonstrated experience in designing and delivering Business Continuity Management frameworks
