About the role
In this role, you will provide subject matter expert support and leadership in optimising performance and total reward frameworks (core and project-based work) across the Ampol Group.
You will join the People & Culture (P&C) Centre’s of Expertise, a team that is trusted and respected by the business to deliver high quality advice, coaching and solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Lead fixed and variable remuneration calendar activities to ensure inputs, deliverables, systems, processes and resources are effectively managed
Seek external market insights to support the P&C function and leaders with the optimisation of the Group Career/Job Architecture Framework and analysis of internal workforce insights
Provide timely insights on remuneration trends and competitor analysis. Maximise the value Ampol generates from remuneration survey providers by proactively connecting on insights.
Manage annual and ad hoc equity offers and vesting events throughout the year securing the required levels of approval, ASX reporting and lodgement requirements, review and circulation of annual tax statements, and various off-shore Director reporting needs.
Support the Head of Executive Reward and Benefits in the Board People & Culture Committee agenda and production of the annual Remuneration Report.
About you
As a subject matter expert, you will have a broad range of expertise and a deep understanding of market data and grading, which will enable you to make informed decisions and recommendations. You will have a passion for performance and reward with the ability to interpret concepts and principles and apply them to specific scenarios. Additionally, you will consider yourself an independent, self-disciplined and decisive self-starter with a high level of resilience.
Key skills and experience:
Degree or post graduate qualification in Finance or Human Resources (or related fields of study)
Extensive experience in remuneration, analytical or HR consultancy experience
Expert knowledge of remuneration frameworks and processes, benefits policies and practices
Has led end-to-end performance and reward activities for an international organisation, utilising related systems and policy guidelines
Project planning and coordination skills, prioritisation among competing priorities
Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesise data into trends and insights
