Summary
The Quality Assurance Receiver will be responsible to perform all duties and responsibilities which entails verifications of product specifications for received product goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow safe work policies and practices to ensure no injury to self or others.
- Must follow the good manufacturing practices and policies
- Ensures equipment in assigned areas of unit operations are monitored and maintained.
- Document retention for COAs and other product receiving paperwork
- Verifies that COA matches required specifications
- Verifies that product matches COAs upon receipt
- Samples purchased products (micro-testing and grading)
- Promptly communicates findings that fall outside allowable limits
- Put product on hold as necessary
- Understanding of HACCP program
- Understanding of FSMA program
- Other duties assigned by department management
Typical Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Other Information
- Basic math skills
- Good knowledge of computer systems and calculator
- Ability to work in a refrigerated and frozen environments
- Good communication skills
- Needs to be organized, efficient, and have good time management skills.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
