This SAP Practice at Simplot is responsible for creating solutions within the current S4/HANA and SAP Cloud landscape to support our company’s dynamic global needs.  Each team member will contribute to building solutions within the vast array of SAP products to support our business objectives.  We are currently looking for innovative and driven Senior Delivery Manager to join the existing team and contribute to all future business objectives.  This Senior Delivery Manager will focus on establishing the standard practices for managing the entire SAP application landscape, security access and controls for all systems in the landscape and be a focal point for all engineering and optimization efforts that is performed under their resource control.  The position responsibilities will expand in the future also once the baseline operations are established and sustainable.  Future scope will include managing the contractual relationship with contracted professional firms, and establishing the future roadmap for optimization opportunities for the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all SAP Basis administrators which are both employees and contract resources. Analyze all resource needs and skill sets to sustain the technical landscape and develop plans to ensure the team has the ability and skills to support existing and future projects and activities.
• Manage all SAP Security Analysts which are both employees and contract resources. Analyze all resource needs and skill sets to sustain the established SAP Security Standards and develop plans to ensure the team has the ability and skills to support existing and future projects and activities.
• Manage the ongoing contract relationships, staffing, metrics reviews, and invoice reconciliation processes with contracted system integrators.
• Develop and Manage the Production release management process for all changes made in the entire SAP landscape.  This will involve project, support, and emergency changes in an N + 1 landscape.
• Plan and coordinate the work of the team to support the project teams alongside the production environments, including recurring deliverables, audits, and after-hours support. 
• Serve as the internal escalation point for technical issues and problems with the SAP landscape that pertain to areas of Basis support and/or Security support.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to manage the SAP infrastructure, which will ensure the performance and uptime expected from business stakeholders.
• Drive effective decision making within the team, including communication of decisions to appropriate partners and maintain vendor relationships.
• Ensure Talent development by mentoring, coaching for success, establishing performance expectations, and providing recognition

Typical Education

Relevant Experience

• 5+ Years of proven working experience as an SAP Security Analyst or Basis Administrator where team leadership was part of the position responsibilities. 
• Experience managing segregation of duties, and mitigating controls in an SAP landscape is required.
• Working knowledge of SAP GRC and Solution Manager is required.
• Solid understanding of managing hybrid integration solutions (Cloud/On-Premise) is helpful.
• Solid understanding of change management enablement via SAP Solution Manager/CHARM is helpful.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies is helpful. 
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills are required.
