The E&I Technician is accountable for executing the maintenance and repairs of electrical and instrumentation systems.
You will spend your time...
- Supporting your team in making deliberate improvements in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) as well as housekeeping performance.
- Ensuring 100% compliance of assigned EHS requirements, process safety, food safety, and quality standards. As well as executing required preventative, autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices.
- Safe completion of life critical activities in production areas including development and execution of lock, tag, try procedures (LTT).
- Identifying and implementing improvements in systems, processes, and personal development and as assigned by department and/or shift Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Ensuring all training requirements are met within the specified time frames and training other personnel as required by Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager.
- Ensuring preventative, autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices are executed as required by department
- Performing maintenance and repair of site’s electrical and instrumentation systems
- Performing work order tasks and supports work order flow through MMIS
- Performing troubleshooting of site’s electrical and instrumentation systems
- Supporting scoping and planning of work orders
- Following parts procurement procedures
- Supporting updating and documentation of equipment BOMs and PMs
- Key performance Indicators
- Wrench time
Job Requirements
The following are requirements for this position
- High School Diploma or High school equivalent (HSE) including GED and Maine HiSET
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
The following knowledge, skills and experience are helpful but not required
- Journeys man or Preferably Master Electrician
- Must be independent, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Chemical manufacturing experience
- Customer oriented
- Action oriented
- Problem solving
