Job Description
It’s an exciting time to join International Flavors & Fragrances’ (IFF) Information Technology team as Director of IT Strategy and Planning located in Union Beach, NJ. We will count on you to lead the IT planning process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology trends. You will collaborate with executive leadership to define IT priorities and initiatives, while driving innovation by identifying and evaluating emerging technologies for potential adoption.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of IT roadmaps and ensure effective implementation
- Provide strategic guidance on IT investments, balancing cost, risk, and business impact
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance IT planning and execution
- Define and communicate key metrics to measure IT effectiveness
- Monitor industry trends to recommend adjustments to the IT strategy as needed
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to communicate IT strategy and gain support
- Create executive level communications and presentations to communicate IT strategy
Long Description
Qualifications
- 5-10 years experience as an IT strategist or in a similar strategic planning role
- Strong understanding of IT trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing IT strategies that drive business outcomes
- Solid financial acumen for effective budget management
- Excellent communication skills at executive level
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
