Job Role : This entry level position will give you exposure to a unique industry where science and creativity intersect. The positions are considered a stepping stone to IFF’s renowned Flavorist Training Program. A select number of candidates will advance from these entry level positions to join the Flavorist Development Program as a Trainee Flavorist.
In the role of Trainee flavorist, you will develop the skills and knowledge required to enter into the flavorist profession. The main focus of the 3-4 years training program is to develop creative skills through practical training in formulating the major flavor types and by working on customer projects. The training program consist of 3 phases and involves raw material recognition, flavor creation techniques, basic training in flavor technologies, all application areas and basics of analysis of flavors & foods. You will gain valuable insights into R&D, production, quality control departments, sales and marketing. Further, you will gain an international experience and be supported / mentored during this period by experienced flavorists.

Four Year Degree (BS/BA in biological or chemical science preferred.) with 1-2 years of lab experience would be preferable.
