We currently have an opportunity within our maintenance team based at our facility in Haverhill, Suffolk.
The successful candidate will carry out Instrument/Electrical Maintenance activities in both within our Nourish and Scent production plants, under the guidance of the Lead E,C & I Technician. These tasks will be a combination of preventative work and reactive repairs. You will also support the delivery of other I/E engineering works and improvements on site from conception to completion as directed by Maintenance Management.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all of your I/E work activities are carried out safely, and in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also ensure that Engineering Systems are accurately maintained, critical spares are identified and contribute towards improvement in a proactive way.
The Maintenance Department is a site service (Nourish and Scent Divisions) and this role includes supporting 24/7 operations through an on-call standby rota. Working pattern is Monday-Friday (full days) and being part of a six-weekly call-out rota and routine weekend cover.

Required Skills:
• To have served an instrument or electrical apprenticeship achieving a minimum of City & Guilds qualification.
• Fault finding expertise.
• PLC competence.
• Willingness to undertake & commit to additional electrical/instrumentation training.
Required Experience:
• Chemical industry hazardous area Electrical experience.
• Food manufacturing Electrical experience.
• Pump/gearbox experience.
• FLT driving experience
• Working at Height experience and MEWP operation.
