Summary

The ERP Analyst uses knowledge of supported supply chain business areas, SAP, and integrated systems such as Aravo, Concur, and/or Work Management systems to support business operations. The ERP Analyst works closely with business users to understand processes and proactively seeks to optimize efficiency. The ERP Analyst also recommends process changes or system improvements using system and industry best practices in support of enterprise objectives. In addition to gathering business requirements the ERP Analyst also facilitates discussions to identify system and business impacts, define test plans, coordinates implementation, communicates changes, performs functional testing, and provides functional training.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze end-to-end complex business processes and information needs of the clients in one or more business functional areas (may include external entities)
  • Prepare requirements documents, including documenting As-Is, To-Be processes and identify gaps and/or process improvement opportunities. 
  • System innovation; Enhance opportunities by identifying new system functionality 
  • Design system processes, prepare functional specifications, prepare test plan and test scripts 
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT) and obtain business sign-off
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) consulting to the business and IT leadership to influence industry best practices 
  • Partner with business team, technical, architecture and integration resources to develop strategies in support of SRP enterprise roadmap
  • Ability to assist with complex reporting requirements involving SAP native data and integrating applications
  • Other Duties: Existing system enhancements and new application implementation project support, project management, mass data maintenance, RPA solutions

Experience

Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years of experience at Level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of three-years of experience at Level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

 

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona. We are taking steps to protect the health and well-being of all team members, and by following a number of health and safety protocols, to reduce the risk of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
