Your Key Responsibilities
Oversees and plans execution of quality inspections, enhances testing and measuring procedures, methods and tools, and ensures adherence to defined technical standards and specifications. Oversee implementation, maintenance and improvement of quality technology, metrology and laboratory standards, methods and tools, equipment and software.
Control surveillance of testing and inspection equipment, ensure accuracy and usability, drive necessary maintenance and investments. Provide technical guidance on proper selection and application of methods, tools and equipment for product- and testing-related inspections and measurements. Assign tasks and test procedures to team members and assure appropriate completion, evaluate results and decide on counter measures in case of non-conformance.
Assist and assume responsibilities of Quality Manager during their absence.
Coordinate quality training schedule. Submits training records to HR. Administer a positive scrap collection program.
Collect data necessary to publish weekly and monthly report for presentation to management for annual quality goals. Provide Quality Assurance support to manufacturing personnel.
Review and maintain data base for process and product audits. Maintain all files relevant to quality records.
Assist in preparation of quality data requested by customers. Maintain a positive system for internal audits, maintenance of corrective actions, follow up audits and closure.
Provide guidance and instruction for corrective action teams. Resolve quality issues with suppliers as related to services they provide.
Interface with Application and Sales Engineers as necessary to obtain information on quality concerns.
Your Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree from four year College or University
External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
Minimum 2 years in Quality role. Quality Management System knowledge
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional time management
Supplier Quality Engineering experience
Preferred:
Experience leading employees
Industry Product Line manufacturing and technology knowledge
Knowledge of ISO 9001and TS16949 requirements
Competent in curriculum development and training in the areas of SPC, DCP, APQP, FMEA, and MSA.
