Your Key Responsibilities
- Continuously applies lean methods of the Schaeffler Production System (SPS) to improve efficiency and effectiveness for an organizational area assigned, e.g. a production segment.
- Support the application of lean management standards within the SPS.
- Deploy and train all lean management methods and knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the SPS and share best practices.
- Plan and facilitate workshops and summarize the results achieved.
- Report the review status of the SPS implementation status in the own unit.
Your Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Business Management)
- MOVE (Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing. Single Piece Flow Methodologies of Production Continuous Process Improvement) Philosophy Knowledge
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Preferred:
- Experience in Kaizen Program, time study, bottleneck theory and lean manufacturing techniques
- Training and experience with six-sigma problem solving
- Extensive knowledge of problem-solving tools
