Your new responsibilities
- Sustain and improve the product quality from end-to-end of the value stream
- Make necessary adjustments to tooling, equipment, and work instructions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize product manufacturing costs
- Collaborate with the Quality Department to establish and sustain control plans
- Ensure that the manufacturing process adheres to quality standards and customer requirements
- Participate in the product and process development programs to ensure manufacturing standards are achieved before release to production
What we look for
- BS or MS in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Material, or Industrial Engineering
- Engineering experience in a medium to high volume manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Competence in Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Competence in 6-sigma methodologies including DOE
- Strong ability to utilize databases to investigate and optimize manufacturing processes and product quality
- Good organizational and communication skills, written and verbal
