A vacancy has arisen for a Application Engineer (Foundation Equipment) in our MCC department Application Engineer. The role contributes to the success of the Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd by acting as the liaison between sales and customers to establish themselves as the recognised technical authority for Liebherr foundation equipment ensuring outstanding customer service at all times whilst working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.
• Work closely with Sales and Aftersales to ensure strong relationships are developed with customers, visits to jobsites made, and demonstrate to customers knowledge regarding different applications and solutions to perform required jobs
• Act as the liaison between Sales and customers to strengthen and increase market share of foundation equipment.
• Develop training programmes to maximise product knowledge to company regarding pile walls, CFA, displacement piling, diaphragm walls, Kelly drilling, dynamic compaction, and other forms of ground improvement.
• Technical support of customers, engineers, and other service stations.
• Advise and recommend to sales staff and customers the appropriate foundation methods for jobsite conditions and customer needs
• Advise customers on the correct use of Liebherr foundation equipment and the application of modern foundation methods utilizing this equipment
• Provide technical support to the business and answer any technical questions related to this type of equipment
• Identify product improvement suggestions for assigned market applications and communicate with the factory product development team both needs and recommendations
The successful candidate will require the following:
• GCSE’s grade A to C 9 to 4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Geotechnical, civil or plant engineering background, or the equivalent education and experience in deep foundation techniques, operation, and job layouts
• Field experience as a Service Engineer
• Knowledge of Deep foundations and necessary equipment
• Full clean driving license
