Job Summary

This job is responsible for the movement and storage of warehouse stock during the evening hours.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Visibly support and champion Peabody's Mission and Values
Act in accordance with and adhere to Safety as a Way of Life Management System
Inspect work area, equipment and stores for hazards, damage and defects
Experience using SAP (supply chain management) required
Materials management experience with large surface mine equipement preffered
Receipt and issue of stock
Reconcile consignment notes and orders
Load and unload stock and bin items.
Identify and investigate anomalies between physical and recorded stock levels
Store yard holdings
Maintain accurate records of issues, receipts, stock-takes, etc.
Training other personnel
Ensure activities comply with safety, environmental and statutory requirements
Other duties as assigned by the company

Physical Requirements

OFFICE ENVIRONMENT

Must have the ability to sit for up to 8 hours
Must be able to use a computer and communicate effectively in various forms, including email and by phone
Must have the ability to review paper and electronic documents and complete computer entry of data from paper documents
Must be able to find, remove and return files to/from file cabinets and discuss issues by telephone and in person
Must be able to operate copier, fax machine, etc.
