Opportunity Overview
The LitePoint logistics team is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Material Handler. This role's primary responsibility is assisting the shipping and receiving department by handling incoming and outgoing shipments, processing material requests and maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes, while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Receiving:
- Unload shipments from suppliers, verify the accuracy of shipment contents and quantities, inspect goods for defects or damages, and report discrepancies
- Complete necessary transactions to receive material
- Deliver, organizing and store received items in appropriate areas
- Manages discrepancies by following up with appropriate departments
- Work with the purchasing team and AP team to fix any issues regarding receipts
- May be required to handle and lift heavy objects up to approximately 50 lbs.
Shipping:
- Works with the Logistic Lead to process orders and ensures the timeliness and accuracy of order fulfillment
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensure items are packaged properly
- Handle daily shipping activities, including domestic and international shipments
- Coordinate with freight companies to ensure timely pickup.
- Create shipping labels using UPS, FedEx, and DHL systems
- Complete necessary transactions to ship material
- Track and confirm shipments are delivered; investigates issues and work with Logistic Lead to resolve
- Manages shipping supplies and ensures ample inventory of packing supplies

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving or similar role
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems (e.g. Navision, xCarrier, Excel)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of commercial invoices, EEI filings, and HTS and ECCN codes a plus
