We are looking for junior engineers that epitomize technical and operational excellence. Working simultaneously on projects in different phases is common; you must be able to learn and demonstrate strong debugging, troubleshooting, validation and defect analysis skills. You are responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
THE ROLE:
You will be a member of Operation test team and NPI teams and will be the main interface with the internal operations team and Product Engineer team.
Learn and Work along with Product Engineering to define the test strategy, implement and optimize test setup/processes at the CM including qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and test software
Work concurrently with the Product Engineers to provide improve the throughput yield· * Investigate, troubleshoot analyze yield issues and provide concise paretos and yield analysis reports during prototype and production builds to resolve issues and improve yields
Interface with Product Engineering, board test and manufacturing team to achieve desired improvement goals.
Deploy and provide training for Manufacturing Tests Technician.
Responsible for identifying failures related to design flaws then escalating problems to Design Engineer and Product Engineer for correction or improvement (DFM /DFT).
Able to sort out problem’s root cause either by hardware or software related. Presenting the case to appropriate group to get help.
Communicate between Product and MFG engineering about the improvements, testing and the goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field
1+ years of experience in manufacturing/operations of electronic devices or related ATE
Must have ability to work on cross-functional teams and independently and to communicate with all levels of management.
Recognition of when a problem must be escalated is also critical.
Ability to work on-site in San Jose, CA.
