Due to the significant uplift in the programme for addressing defects identified from Fire Surveys, which were carried out over the last two years, VIVO are now looking to recruit a Fire Project Manager to manage projects in Southwest England.
Reporting to the Area Project Lead, this role will form part of the Fire Project Team to deliver the fire remedial programme across all sites in the Region.
You will plan, direct and coordinate all project activities to ensure they are being managed safely, efficiently and effectively, develop and maintain string working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, acting as liaison with Area Managers to identify appropriate resources to deliver Billable Works and as main point of contact for the client.
This role will see you provide weekly updates with regards to project progress and outcomes, manage the service delivery area budgets and review P&L, ensure all paperwork and data relating to projects is recorded, updated and reported on regularly, monitor Supply Chain performance, provide delivery assessments to the client and monitor progress of Billable Works to ensure they are delivered within agreed timelines.
This role is full time and permanent, and we are able to offer hybrid working, We expect you to be on site anywhere within the region for 3 days per week so candidates must be prepared for regular travel.
You will be working alongside a Project Manager and share the region with them, with a focus on 3 or 4 sites at any one time.
What You Need To Do The Job
First and foremost, you should be an experienced senior administrator, ideally from a projects background, but any administrative background will be considered.
This role is very admin heavy so it is important that you have exceptional administrative skills and extensive experience within administration, with expert Excel knowledge and the ability to manage a varied and challenging workload.
This role will involve running reports and interpreting data in order to form decision making, so you will need experience in this area to be successful.
People management experience and skills and excellent communication skills are also necessary as you will managing contractors and coordinating different departments to ensure works are completed to agreed timescales.
It would be an advantage if you hold a project management qualification and/or passive Fire qualifications, but these are not essential as full training will be provided.
