Serco Maritime Services deliver maritime support packages tailored to our customers’ needs all delivered within a national accreditation framework. As owners and operators of specialist vessels, from harbour workboats to oceangoing support vessels, we provide world class integrated maritime services both in the UK and abroad.
Our vessels provide a range of support, which include for example: dive support, military training, submarine rescue exercises, target/test equipment deployment/recovery and passenger transfers.
Serco are currently recruiting for a Junior Engineer on an initial 6 month fixed term contract (FTC) to join the existing team at Portsmouth. The purpose of the role is the overall responsibility for the operational state and maintenance of all machinery and electrical equipment on board the vessel.

This position requires applicant live locally and to be able to commute within 2 hours of Portsmouth Naval Base. The position will also require applicant to be available to provide engineer absence cover within the Serco fleet of vessels which may include day work or rotational crews.
