Location: Porton Down, Salisbury, Wiltshire
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8-4:30
Salary: £32,000-£35,000 dependent on experience
Here at VIVO we are looking for a new CAD Assistant to work on our site at Porton Down. You will support the CAD manager to maintain site plans including the services, assets and the grounds of DSTL Porton Down.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that requests for drawings are responded to efficiently and effectively.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Maintain and update record drawings using AutoCAD software
- Undertake general ‘team’ administrative duties as and when required
- Distribute and share information internally to ensure customer needs are met
- Receive and disseminate information to other team members to ensure delivery
- Maintain office systems in an orderly manner
- Undertake other basic business support duties as part of a team
- Assist with the delivery of services to the client as prescribed by team leader/management
- Input to and maintain spread sheets/databases/systems and produce and collate reports
- Work with Projects Team and Client on building services
- Production of new and updated drawings
- Review of third-party drawings
What you’ll need to do this role:
AutoCAD software experience
Revit Software experience is desirable
Requirement for occasional travel to alternative sites
It is desirable that you have experience of operating within an MOD environment and have familiarity with geography and establishments within area of responsibility
You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be considered for this role.
You must be a British National to be considered for this role.
