We have some exciting opportunities to join our team in based in Aberdeen. You’ll be part of our Cleaning team who work hard to provide a high-quality service within one of Transport’s flagship contracts NorthLink Ferries. In this role of Cleaning Assistant you will ensure a high level of cleanliness of the vessels, terminal buildings and other port facilities at all times.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensuring defects found within the Vessel are reported to line management
- Lost property must be dealt with according to Serco NorthLink lost property policies
- Ensure that the PPE provided is worn on duty
- Cleaning within a kitchen environment
- Working on a vessel prior to departure
- Cleaning within the terminal buildings as required and any other port facilities
- Making up cabins and beds daily
- Ensure all Serco Essentials and E -learning is completed and up to date.
- Any other duties as required by the cleaning supervisor and Passenger Service Officer
- Responsibilities will vary according to the requirements of the business
