Resourcing Partner 
Caledonian Sleeper: Glasgow
Permanent/ Full time Monday- Friday 
Hybrid office based 2/3 days per week

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Resourcing Partner to join the Caledonian Sleeper (CSL) HR Team. The Resourcing Partner is a new role which will lead on developing and managing the implementation of resourcing and attraction policies, procedures, and processes across the CSL business.


It is an exciting time to become part of the HR team as we shape our new HR operating model, systems, and practices. You will have the opportunity to lead and shape recruitment strategies business wide, influence stakeholders and contribute towards the organisation’s resourcing strategy following the transition across to Scottish Rail Holdings.
Our Resourcing Partner will lead the end-to-end recruitment cycle, working in partnership with people managers to drive proactive resourcing activities aligned to CSL Values and Strategy. Reporting to the Head of HR, this is a key role which will help to shape the future of Caledonian Sleeper, attracting the best talent to join our teams and promoting CSL as an employer of choice. This role will also develop and champion our approach to early careers talent, promoting modern apprenticeships and new entry level schemes.


Main Accountabilities:

 

  • Develop and lead CSL end to end recruitment and onboarding approach and activities 
  • Managing vacancies to achieve, time to hire and cost per hire SLAs, whilst ensuring hiring manager and candidate satisfaction levels are maximised 
  • Lead and shape the design and delivery of CSL Resourcing Strategy 
  • Lead and manage key resourcing projects, such as developing new recruitment and attraction policies and procedures, implementing an ATS Recruitment system and developing recruitment attraction collateral
  • Coach and support People Managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding cycle 
  • Act as the Resourcing Partner across the wider business to ensure consistency and compliance in processes and procedures
  • Develop and manage recruitment agency PSL
  • Develop and champion our approach to early careers talent, promoting modern apprenticeships and new entry level schemes 
  • Shape and develop CSL Employee Value Proposition – attending relevant career fairs and roadshows to attract the best talent to join our teams, promote working at CSL and our Values 
  • Develop and manage key recruitment metrics and analysis as needed 

 

What you’ll need:

 

  • For the purposes of recruitment and selection the indicators below will be used in the shortlisting and assessment process for this role. You should therefore address these areas fully in your application. 
  • Experience in a resource delivery position with exposure to recruiting a diverse range of roles 
  • Proven capability in developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies 
  • Experience developing and maintaining candidate talent pools / pipelines and inclusion 
  • Experience of working with ATS Recruitment Systems 
  • Knowledge of working with early careers talent, relevant funding programmes e.g. apprenticeship levy and/or equivalent
  • Strong stakeholder management & communication skills 
  • You will be confident working with HR Systems, Excel and other Microsoft Office packages and will have a strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to manipulate & interpret recruitment data
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills 
  • A flexible team player with a high level of initiative 
  • Understanding of current HR and Recruitment policies and procedures 
  • Capable of working on own projects and take responsibility of own workload 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a varied workload 
  • Good organisational skills to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Flexible Mindset 
  • Ability to create, build and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders
