Talented Work Based Learning Tutor Wanted!
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Work Based Learning Tutor to join our team. As an inspiring tutor, you will be responsible for delivering Vocational Qualifications and Functional Skills in work-based areas to a diverse range of learners.
The successful candidate will have a background in work-based learning and/or the vocational education sector, with good technical knowledge and skills. You will be able to apply English and/or Maths to the workplace and have experience of working with learners from non-traditional backgrounds.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, marking, and monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking examination papers, and developing and preparing flexible learning materials. You will also be mentoring and playing an active role in the marketing of the provision.
Desirable qualifications include a Level 4 Award in Education and Training (QCF)/Certificate in Education/PGCE, Level 5 - subject specialism, Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance Level 4. Minimum qualifications required are a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) and Level 3 - subject specialism.
If you have proven experience of working in an environment that demands strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, demonstrated flexibility, and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, we want to hear from you.
Experience of a custodial environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
