Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to provide project management and analytic support within the Serco Middle East Commercial team.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, key customers, in particular the commercial, contracts, legal and procurement functions of those customers.
This role will be based in our Dubai support office, however, we are open to consider candidates who would like to be based in our Saudi support office in Riyadh.
Key Accountabilities
Ensure established processes are followed to monitor all commercial activities across the division and prepare the reports to demonstrate compliance with processes across the commercial remit of the organisation.
Support with continuous improvement of procedures and key controls to ensure they remain fit for purpose, reflect SME requirements.
Bid Phase - map contractual commitments in client facing contracts against the established Serco trading principles. Track the identified commercial and solution risks, support the required governance of the commercial part of any bid
Assists in development of Commercial winning solutions for growth of SME
Monitor the register of all opportunities and submissions and keep this information source updated.
Operational Phase – to assist with the adherence to customer facing contracts and provide effective contract administration functions, including transition support.
Track if Contract Managers are adhering to the required reporting for their specific sector/contract areas.
Ensure key stakeholders in the business take an active role in the business lifecycle governance process including preparing appropriate documentation and processes.
Builds strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, key customers, in particular the commercial, contracts, legal and procurement functions of those customers.
Specific Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an English speaking international corporate environment with a preference for Middle East/KSA.
Advanced understanding of the key components of contracts, terms and conditions and the legislative environment that applies to and affects such commercial contracts.
Record of engagement with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A proven track record of instituting continuous improvement and change management.
Demonstrable subject matter expertise (and where appropriate accreditation) across the following elements of Commercial Management:
o Reading and extracting contract data
o Risk identification, prioritization and treatment
o Applying Bid & Contract Evaluation Criteria
o Support invoicing processes to protect the cash-flow
Accountancy or Law Bachelor from an accredited university.
Further Accountancy / Law / Contracts accreditations beneficial
Project Management qualifications
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office
Process Improvement/Quality Management
