We rely on the advice and support of our central Corporate Functions to enable and maintain our wide range of business operations and to ensure they keep running smoothly and efficiently.
The Group General Counsel Graduate Programme will see you become part of one of our core Group teams. The role will sit within the Group Legal team but will obtain wide exposure to other aspects of the Group General Counsel team, including Ethics and Compliance, Company Secretariat, Risk and Assurance, Data Privacy and M&A.
As part of this programme, you will have the opportunity to experience core elements of the Group General Counsel team and interface with key stakeholders including the Executive Team, Senior Leadership, and key users of legal, risk, and assurance at Group and Divisional level. You will support the activities and objectives of the team through excellent written skills and core IT systems knowledge, and by supporting and enabling processes, procedures, and projects specific to the team.
The programme is designed for those looking to start a career in professional services and develop their skills within a high-profile corporate environment. During the programme, you will support various senior team members on business matters and projects specific (but not exclusively) within the Group Legal function including responsibility for maintaining various global databases and registers. As well as this, you will engage with both internal and external stakeholders influencing parties within an international corporate environment.
