We are recruiting for a Deputy Director to join our Justice & Immigration team at Derwentside Immigration Centre (IRC), a fully contained residential centre housing adult women. We focus on decency and respect in all aspects of care for our residents and use continuous innovation to further improve and develop our service.
As Deputy Director, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and management of resources in delivering against the objectives set out in the Contract, whilst delivering an efficient and effective operation. You will line manage the Residential, Security, Operations, Governance & Services and Safeguarding & Activities, with overall responsibility for the effective functional management and performance of all these key areas.
We are looking for someone to hit the ground running with the relevant experience - this is a great development opportunity for an experienced senior manager, preferably in an Immigration or Custodial environment with knowledge of Contract structures and experience of contributing to the processes of strategic and business planning at a high level.
Your knowledge of modern business practices, issues and trends, legislative provisions and standards applicable to a commercial environment will support with succeeding in the delivery of accountabilities such as:
