Record to Report Global Process Manager 
Hybrid – Attached to Hook
Full Time, Permanent   
£80,000 - £85,000 (dependent on experience)  

 

Here at Serco, we are seeking an experienced Record to Report (R2R) Global Process Manager to be responsible for providing leadership of various R2R Projects working alongside ERP Project Managers. This role will deliver life-cycle support of the project from initial identification of required needs to transition of a completed solution into “business as usual” services. The role requires an excellent understanding of technical architecture and terminology and the ability to learn the overall Finance system landscape.

 

You will support on numerous finance projects which could include continuous improvement initiatives, technical system upgrades, new interfaces, system enhancements and any other projects which are part of the Finance roadmap.

As part of this you’ll:

 

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement objectives for the global R2R process
  • Manage business issues arising from the implementation of new processes or functions
  • Ensure processes & associated controls are documented, kept up to date, approved and any exceptions tracked
  • Drive and is accountable for several key improvement initiatives to improve R2R processes & their governance, including introduction of standard methodologies and models
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the BPO Partner, driving the above continuous improvement initiatives into the operation and ensuring the Serco dependencies are met
  • Play an active part in the monthly R2R process ensuring it operates effectively, ensuring BPO understand what is expected of them and when, monitoring progress


What you’ll need to do the role:

 

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Extensive in-depth practical knowledge of end-to-end R2R processes
  • Experience of leading finance or business change projects
  • A strong passion for systems including an understanding of and application within the R2R processes (SAP knowledge highly desirable but not essential)
  • Leadership capabilities and personal gravitas
  • Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers and key business stakeholders
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of process projects of varying scale and complexity, ensuring risk, complexity and competing demands effectively managed
