Here at Shropshire Community Leisure Trust our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Duty Officer to join our centre.
As a Duty Officer, the purpose of your role will be to manage the facility on a day to day basis ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard. The role will involve a high level of customer interaction where you will be on the front line providing excellent customer service to those who visit the leisure centre and when required, provide support and guidance to help other members of staff in how to give the best service possible.
Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will be working on the deployment and supervision of the operational team as well as taking control and responding in the event of any emergency situation.
What you’ll need to do the role
