VIVO are looking for a Repairs Supervisor to oversee the day to day delivery of the Housing Maintenance works. This is a new role due to VIVO being awarded a 7-year contract for the repairs, maintenance, void preparation, and substantial programme of projects to a housing stock of 27,000 across the South of the country.
Covering sites across Exeter, Yeovil and Dartmouth, this role will see you manage sub-contractors supporting the delivery of works, ensuring high levels of quality, manage performance and customer satisfaction targets, undertake site audits relating to Health and Safety compliance, quality and customer service and monitor jobs and trackers to ensure maximum output per trade per day.
You will also undertake toolbox talks and site inductions, provide strong and effective leadership to the team, ensuring staff are properly supported and motivated and work closely with the Delivery Manager to manage poor performance, sickness and holiday cover.
What You Need To Do The Job:
First and foremost, you should have experience of managing or supervising multi-discipline staff within a reactive housing environment, excellent IT, leadership and communication skills and customer service experience.
You should be Health and Safety trained and hold a full UK driving licence.
It would be an advantage if you hold a Level 2 diploma or equivalent in a maintenance trade.
