Working Hours: 39 per week, between Monday to Sunday, covering earlies, days and lates

Here at Swale Leisure Trust our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Relief Duty Manager to join our centre.
As the Relief Duty Manager, the purpose of your role is to work within the centre ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care at all times. The role will involve supervision of specific activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and the safe handling and set up of equipment.
In addition, you will supervise the work of the Leisure Assistants and assist the Duty Manager in ensuring the building is run smoothly.
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with free access to the leisure facilities, various discounts and excellent development opportunities.
Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust.
About you
The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Swale, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when required and are confident using a computer.
You will be able to demonstrate a level of experience and knowledge commensurate with the position, with previous experience of working in a leisure environment including pool supervision where appropriate.
It is desirable that you hold a current Royal Lifesaving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and a current first aid at work qualification.
