Your Opportunity
We are looking for an Asset Management Consultant who will support in the delivery of Asset Management activities on projects and enhance the Asset Management service offerings to add value to client’s’ Operations & Maintenance organization.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate drive, enthusiasm and commitment to projects while projecting a professional image. Has excellent planning and organisation skills. Able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a proactive manner with a positive attitude. Function confidently and competently within client environment and has a positive impact on clients’ perception of Serco. Consistently achieves high quality deliverables and requires limited direction and supervision. Shows flexibility in tasks and location, and deals well with ambiguity.
This role is part of our team of Asset Management Subject Matter Experts and will regularly travel between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Key Accountabilities
Support the delivery of Advisory with Purpose projects
Support in conducting Asset Management Maturity Assessments, Gap Analysis exercises, and support in the development of Road maps.
Support in development of Asset Management Plans, Procedures, and standards.
Support the implementation of Asset Management artefacts including Policies, Strategies, Asset Lifecycle Strategies and Asset Reporting.
Undertake PMO responsivities on projects, developing progress reports, risk, and issues registers.
Support in the development of pipeline of Asset Management opportunities in the MEA region.
Assist in the development of tools, processes and systems to support the delivery of Corporate Transformation projects
Support due diligence studies on client’s organisation, systems and processes in an effort to seek improvements and eliminate waste
Support the change & transition design from current state organisation structures to the newly designed or newly established organisation structures
Support on organisation design projects particularly for Corporate Transformation offices and functions
Assist with the delivery of new entities mandated to oversee and manage the delivery of major infrastructure projects and programmes
Support the execution of the technology vision, goals, and initiatives that support the long-term objectives and mission of the Corporate Transformation function
Support the development and implementation of programme implementation plan and programme management information system
Specific Requirements
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of education or experience, preferably in the field of engineering or a related discipline.
Holder of an IAM certificate is preferred
Three (3) to six (6) years of relevant experience in project management, management consultancy or advisory services capacity
Knowledge and experience in the following:
Strategic Asset Management
Knowledge of ISO55000
Strategy and Target Operating Models development
Transformation Programme Management
Organizational Excellence including framework, process, policies and procedures development and/or improvement
Change Management Frameworks and Business Readiness
Sector exposure and experience of the following areas:
Infrastructure Development & Construction
Transport, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management
Public Administration and Governmental Entities
Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven experience of planning & reporting tools, including MS Project, Primavera – P6, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
Good working knowledge of project management best practices.
Basic knowledge of commercial and financial acumen related to project budgeting and cost estimation
Ability to structure a process framework and comply with best practices in management, business processes and procedures developments and improvements
Strong data management and detail oriented
Knowledge of EAMS and Asset Information.
