Are you looking for a full-time job as a Job Coach in Birmingham? Our Employment, Skills and Enterprise business is looking for someone to manage, develop and support a caseload of customers, providing encouragement, training, brokerage, and co-ordination of activities including development planning, effective monitoring and guidance that will ensure progression to sustained employment.
As a Job Coach, you will work with customers to build strong, collaborative relationships, tailoring support to their needs, motivating, coaching, and challenging them to fulfil their potential and enabling them to secure sustainable employment.
The hours are full-time, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 based at our ideally located Birmingham City Centre office.
What you’ll need to do the role
To succeed in this role, you must have experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Working well under pressure and meeting strict deadlines will be essential.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate ability and experience of coaching and influencing through previous work and have a genuine passion to make a difference to customers. You will also need knowledge of local job markets and the recruitment sector.
