Technical Engineering Officer (Mechanical Bias)

Full time – 37.5 hours per week – Mon-Fri 0800-1600 hours
Salary £38,836.10 - £45,541.19 plus on call allowance on top of basic salary of £2500, plus Serco benefits
Main Purpose:
Reporting into the Technical Engineering Manager (Mechanical) you will be part of the senior engineering services team providing high level technical support to the Hard FM estates service delivered by Serco to our customers at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital. This includes support to the front line day to day maintenance team, small works, lifecycle replacement work and capital projects.
Working as part of a team supporting both the mechanical and electrical infrastructure, this is a key role responsible for managing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining statutory, mandatory and contractual compliance across all services to include; Ventilation Systems, Water Management (HWS & CWS Services), Medical Gas Systems, Decontamination, Pressure Systems, Boilers, MTHW System, Steam, Hydrotherapy Pool etc.
This vacancy within the Team will have a key focus on Hospital Ventilation Systems, Local Exhaust Ventilation and Fire Damper management.
