£26,628.43 per annum, plus £1,500 pro rata Authorised Persons Allowance, plus £3,500 is paid pro rata for responding to out of hours
We have an opening for a Logistic Operative to join our team. As a Logistics Operator you will provide Logistics support to the Secure Logistics Contract, undertaking all aspects of warehousing including goods in/goods out, stock movement, stock control, quality assurance, asset management and database control. The role also requires the post holder to undertake driving duties in a light commercial vehicle to collect and deliver client assets, as well as providing off site logistical support to colleagues and clients as directed.
The post holder is responsible for assisting with the day to operations at our combined warehouse and office building as part of a small team of administrative and logistics personnel:
Working closely with the Logistics Supervisor to ensure the requirements of the client and all SLA’s are met.
What you need to do the job:
To be considered for this role the individual must be proficient in the use of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel. The position requires a good degree of numeracy and literacy and the ability to collate reporting information from the site asset management system.
The post holder must have a current driving licence. A counterbalance forklift truck licence would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
The post holder will be required to undertake Yellow Belt operational excellence training.
Plaese note that the post holder will be working on a Home Office contract and will be required to undergo and attain enhanced SC security vetting, a process which is exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders’ act.
Additionally, there's a requirement to be a keyholder and respond to out of hours incidents.
