Managed Mobile Standard Service Manager   
Hybrid – Attached to London, Hook or Solihull Office with UK Travel       
Full Time, Permanent   
£70,000 - £75,000(dependent on experience)  

 

Here at Serco, we are seeking an ambitious Managed Mobile Standard Service Manager to be responsible for the planning, launch and day-to-day management of the Managed Mobile Service (MMS).

 

In this key role you will manage the Managed Mobile Estate (MMS) and the commercial relationship with the vendor throughout the Standard Service Lifecycle, gathering and prioritising business and customer requirements, defining the MMS standard service vision, and working closely with internal stakeholders. You will work alongside Standard Service Managers and Operational teams to ensure that the suppliers are meeting business requirements to deliver business winning services.
 

You will develop services by identifying potential product/platforms; conducting market research and benchmarking; gathering functional and performance requirements with the business partner; determining specifications, production timetables, financial costing, and time integrated plans for Standard Service introduction, developing adoption strategies.

 

As part of this you’ll:

 

  • Determine business needs and performance expectations by working with the IT Business Partners, the business and specifying the external research needed to obtain market information
  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future Standard Service lines by reviewing specifications and requirements
  • Assesses external market competition by comparing the Serco Standard Service to competitor/external provider service
  • Provide source data for Standard service communications by defining Service Catalogue entries, communications plan and adoption information
  • Monitor Standard Service achievement of Service level targets, working with the Operational Teams and Service Management to understand issues, resolve problems and improve performance
  • Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term adoption/usage forecasts and detailed roadmap information
  • Budgets, controls, and reports on Standard Service TCO costing by reviewing operational and 3rd party costs, internal delivery and support costs, anticipating volume changes and costing special and variation orders


What you’ll need to do the role:

 

  • Proven working experience of 3-5 years in product/standard service management, experience in enterprise application, functional development and cost forecasting, or consultancy in these fields
  • Technical knowledge of an Enterprise Mobility Management System, Apple Business Manager, Samsung Knox and Microsoft Intune
  • Track record in budgeting, forecasting and managing a budget (up to £10m), with the financial acumen to understand TCO, unit costing, cash-flow and how to manage operational costs
  • Excellent people skills that facilitate smooth and positive interactions with the consumers that result in the establishment of long-lasting relationships with the business
  • An understanding of ITIL and SIAM to a functional level, to be able to deliver and manage the standard service within these frameworks
  • Detailed knowledge of the Managed Mobile Service (MMS) market
  • Experience of managing teams, including Service Management, Technical Design as well as any aligned operational team delivering the service
  • Must be SC cleared or able to undergo and achieve SC clearance
