Job Title: Trainee Water Assistant

Working Hours / Pattern: 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday
Salary: Up £21,294 per annum (up to £23,200 from April) + Overtime opportunities

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Trainee Water Assistant to join the team.
Holme Pierrepont Country Park, the home of the National Water Sports Centre has excellent water facilities, accommodation, a campsite, Outdoor Adventure Zone, Life Fitness Gym and marvellous nature trails for cycling and walking, it is a favourite destination for families, schools, corporate clients and individuals.
As the Water assistant, you will be working on the preparation, repair and maintenance of the water facilities and equipment plus controlling and directing the use of water-based activities and associated facilities as part of a team.
You will also be accountable for different areas such as contributing to the management of health and safety within the workshop and preparation of the water facilities for activities and events.
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities, free leisure membership and excellent benefits.
About You
It is essential that any potential applicants hold a Full UK driving licence. Furthermore, we are looking to hear from people who are a confident on open water, those who can work well with colleagues but also to their own initiative and someone who looks and strives for self-improvement.
You will need to be flexible as earliest start time could be 6.30am and latest finish time 8pm.
No experience needed as full training/uniform and Safety equipment will be given to the successful candidate.
We will also progress you through your Power Boat Level 2 certification and any other water based qualification required to carry your duties.
