Here at Serco we have a fantastic opportunity for a Group Head of Business Integrity and Regulatory compliance who will drive and develop the Group’s approach and strategy to business integrity & support the divisions in embedding effective ethical compliance programmes which enhance the integrity of the company. Business integrity and compliance is hugely important to us at Serco and this role will require a Leader who is comfortable ‘rolling their sleeves up’ to work in the detail and lead investigations whilst also regularly working with the board and ExCom delivering regular internal and external reporting.
This role will have one direct report and will be expected to take a tactical and strategic lens when required. The role holder will need to champion the integrity and values, promoting and embedding our business conduct policies, mycode, values-based behaviours and business principles across Serco. You will also provide subject matter expertise across compliance and regulatory matters maintaining awareness and advising on potential changes that may affect Serco.
What you’ll need to do the job
• Demonstrable ethics and compliance leadership experience in roles such as or similar to ‘Head of Ethics and Compliance’ within a similar sized or complex organisation
• Degree educated (ideally legally qualified but not essential)
• Strong and relevant experience developing and implementing compliance programmes and handling issues and investigations with a comparable organisation
• Clear capability to operationalise ethics and compliance
• Track record of influencing senior and executive leaders on the ethics compliance agenda
• Highly developed people skills applicable at all levels of the organisation
