Location: Lancer House, Leicester, Hybrid working, 3 days in office, 2 days WFH  

Job Type: Fixed Term (Mat Leave), Up to 18 months

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum + benefits

Working Hours / Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

 

 

Serco Leisure have over 20 years’ experience in leisure management working with a variety of clients across the UK, and we now have an exciting opportunity that has arisen, as we are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our team.

 

Our sites include well-known sporting facilities like the Bisham Abbey and Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centres, Stoke Mandeville Stadium, which was the birthplace of the Paralympic Movement, and the National Water Sports Centre. We also run golf courses and 45+ community leisure centres.

 

The key purpose of this role is to be responsible for supporting the implementation and the management of the digital marketing strategy across multiple leisure and sporting facilities around the UK. Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager and working as part of the core marketing team, contributing directly to the future digital marketing direction of the leisure business.

 

You will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of the core leisure digital strategy, both advising and implementing across web, social, email and paid media. You’ll be expected to be able to work to deadlines, maximising the ROI of digital marketing activities and delivering them within budgetary targets.

 

The role requires an essential drive for creating, testing, reviewing and continuous improvement; all to improve the output of our digital marketing strategy.

 

 

About You

 

You will come from a marketing background, with strong experience working in the digital arena on everything from social media marketing to website development, as well as having experience of delivering projects.

 

Holding a Digital Marketing qualification would be desirable or a professional accreditation, as well as have a keen interest in current and emerging digital trends.

 

You will have excellent communication and proof-reading skills, the ability to work under pressure, proactive and self-motivated and the ability to work on your own or within a team.

 

Lastly, a driving license is desirable due to travelling to leisure sites as and when required.
