As an Accommodation Project Manager the successful candidate will be required to deliver various projects ranging from fit out and refurbishment to customer moves and relocations across the estate.
Works are to be delivered on an occupied customer site, which is high profile with significant security implications and requirements for deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer stakeholder engagement and management.
- Day-to-day contractor management
- Provision of reports, programmes & progress updates
- Pricing, developing, and delivering costing sheets.
- Ensuring compliance, process controls and financial completion of all tasks.
- Problem solving key design, customer issues or installation challenges on projects in conjunction with colleagues and delivery partners.
- Promoting and upholding VIVO’s reputation for providing the highest standards of site safety, health and welfare and protection of the environment.
- Building and developing excellent working relationships with the client, site teams and supply chain by promoting best practice throughout the delivery process.
- Ensuring safe work practices within the guidelines of health & safety and legislative regulations for both VIVO and DE&S.
- Work with our supply chain and site teams to ensure delivery and manage costs and margin.
- Sequences and programming delivery of multiple projects
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and sustainable delivery of projects
What You Need To Do The Job:
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- The ability to engage, support and manage both client and contractor.
- Working within an occupied office environment with a high profile customer.
- Experience of management of works valued between 10 to 500K, ranging from minor refurbishment to full power and data upgrades, furniture fit out and customer moves.
- Experience of project programming and developing project reporting.
- Cost management, pricing and sub contractor cost management.
- A desire to complete Continuing Professional Development
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Effective time & task management
- Strong team-working and interpersonal skills
- Logical approach to problem solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Maximo
- Degree or similar in a facilities management or construction related field
- Membership of IWFM or similar
