Job Summary:
Supermicro is a global leader in server and IT hardware. We are currently looking for an Sales Account Representative to join the team based in London, UK and support the sales operation throughout EMEA. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity of Supermicro's sales process through various means by working with cross functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs. Candidates should have an understanding of computer hardware and be keen to work in a fast-paced sales environment. Attention to detail is a must and a can-do attitude is essential. Applicants should be willing and able to travel internationally for either training, events or other business activities. The role is primarily office based.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supporting the sales operation to ensure excellent customer experience and generate revenue
Find, develop and manage multiple key accounts
Working with multiple customers and Account Managers across EMEA
Managing the full sales cycles including orders to ensure a smooth operation
Working with customers and sales to submit accurate internal forecasts
Following up with internal departments and individuals to ensure order lead times are met
Be able to deal with complex enquiries and sales leads promptly
Helping to achieve sales targets and growth
Understanding, articulating, and selling product and service technical proposals;
Providing Strategic Reviews (Internal and External)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or Business Administration preferred
Candidate should have ~2+ years experience in a sales/admin related role
Attention to details and a consistently high quality of work is critical
Have a can-do attitude and be self-motivated with the ability to resolve problems and create solutions
Initiative and skills in developing, growing and converting business leads and opportunities
Strong team player
Prior experience selling technology into corporate accounts
Excellent time management skills
Extremely proactive, highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks
Professionalism combined with a passion for creativity
Excellent communication skills in English is mandatory
Additional languages highly desirable: French, German, Spanish,
