Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of Talent Acquisition in UK&I ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our recruitment team. You will focus on multiple business areas within the Bank at varying corporate levels across UK and Ireland. Leveraging your expertise in talent mapping, you will provide valuable insights and market data to support our talent acquisition efforts.
Accountabilities
• Passionate about finding diverse talent for the right role across multiple business areas within Capital Markets, Corporate & Investment Banking, and Support/Control functions
• Goals and results driven, utilising various direct sourcing methods including LinkedIn, networking, market mapping, and recruitment agencies to identify and engage diverse candidates
• Be a strategic TA partner, comfortable speaking to various leadership levels and dedicated to providing an exceptional level of service to both your hiring managers and your candidates
• Work collaboratively across the wider global recruitment team
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including communication with candidates, offer management and negotiation
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, building influential candidate relationships
• Manage all stages of the Interview process with the hiring manager and conduct the HR interview
• Keep a close pulse on the current market to identify needs/gaps that will improve the overall candidate experience
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
• Support the Early in Careers hiring manager when required with Campus events, Assessment centres, bulk CV/video screens
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Code of Conduct
• Contributes to a high performance environment and fosters an inclusive work environment; supporting the vison/values/business strategy for the team
Education / Experience / Other Information (include only those that are specific to the role)
• 2-4 years recruitment experience, preferably in house working in a fast paced environment/and or Recruitment Agency background
• The ability to build and maintain solid relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience innovatively sourcing candidates through different channels
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Be passionate about Diversity, Equity & Inclusion ensuring we attract a diverse talent pool
• Proven expertise in behavioral interviewing techniques
• Financial Services recruitment experience would be an asset
• LinkedIn Recruiter experience
• Self motivated, enthusiastic and thrive in a fast paced work environment
Working Conditions
• Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Limited travel domestically.
