About the Role
To manage all aspects of the Mould Production shifts taking care of the People Process and performance of the department.
Scope of job:
Reporting to: Mould Operations Manager
Direct Reports: Shift Managers / Team Leaders / Production Operators / Cell Leaders / Quality Technicians - Process Administrators
Responsible for: Safety, Quality, Timing, Cost, Motivation and three shifts.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage health and safety aspects for mould teams.
- Ensure internal quality control processes are in place & gate targets are met
- Coach the leaders on process adherence and quality management
- Be responsible and available out of hours to be contacted by three shifts. To monitor three shifts performance / risk.
- Manage performance through KPIs and action plans.
Who we are looking for
Your preferred qualifications
- Leadership Qualification
- Previous production management experience of large teams across shifts patterns
- 5 years’ experience in injection moulding management roles
- IOSH trained.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Candidates must be able to work using their own initiative, and be able to liaise with other functions and departments at all levels within the company. Managing People and processes and budgets within area of responsibility.
