What you’ll do
Reporting to the Senior Acquisition & Retention Manager, and working closely with the Consumer Journey Manager, you will be responsible for retaining Volvo customers, enhancing their ownership experience and maximising lifetime value with the Volvo brand and its associated partners.
A successful candidate would be an analytically minded individual who has exceptional communication skills and is able to build strong working relationships at all levels within the business and across the Volvo Retailer Network. They will have fantastic attention to detail and an agile approach to work to keep up with the fast-paced and ever evolving nature of the department.
Your key deliverables will be:
• Utilise your experience of the sales process and understanding of FCA regulations and compliance to support the design and implementation of the customer centric UK Renewal Programme.
• Led by consumer data and insights, you will work closely with and influence the central teams executing the customer communications plan, as well as your marketing colleagues to retain customers with the brand and maximise their lifetime value.
• Ability to predict when consumers are likely to change their vehicle and provide volume forecasts to the Sales team.
• You will work closely with the Campaign & Offer team to define and execute retention/ loyalty rewards, providing ROI analysis on take up rates, customer satisfaction, and perceived impact on loyalty & satisfaction. Spot opportunities and work with finance and other commercial teams to create a business case and persuade the business to invest.
• Ability to Optimise audiences and targeting strategy on a brand and channel level to maximise ROI including developing test plans.
• Working closely with the Retailers to harmonise retention programmes across Volvo Car direct teams and Retailers and lift and shift best practice across the two environments.
• Acting as the leading voice for Volvo Car UK across all retention activity, bringing a diverse working group of stakeholders together to align on retention activity.
• Championing loyalty in the business and be the conduit by which loyalty continues to be embedded culturally into the organization.
• Understanding the pain points and retention barriers our customers face when shopping with us across all channels, utilising insight from our customer team and front facing colleagues.
• To focus on the customer to maximise share of purchase and lifetime value by continual assessment and improvement of the multi-channel loyalty customer journey.
Volvo has recently embraced an agency model of retailing, whereby consumers now purchase their vehicle directly from Volvo Car UK. In this new operating environment, we can get much closer to our consumers; building stronger more meaningful relationships and taking responsibility for them throughout their lifetime experience with the brand.
What you’ll bring
The successful candidate will have:
• Strong IT skills particularly MS office, Power BI and other order management software applications
• Ability to analyse, interpret and draw conclusions from data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and to perform well under pressure
• An enthusiastic and agile approach to work
• Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing environments and goal posts
• Confident with presenting information to key stakeholders and to a variety of people
An automotive OEM or captive Finance Company background is preferred for this position. Familiarity with integrated ordering systems as well as project management skills or experience is also of benefit.
